GRIDS IN DEVINE PROPORTION
Fibonacci sequence ratio 8:13
This sequence is not only evident within design but also nature

The human face follows the ratio we find people whose faces are truer to the ratio more attractive
Classic Renaissance masterpieces from antiquity and even human body parts are proportioned based on the ratio down to the fingers themselves.

Fibonacci sequence a series of numbers in which each number is the sum of two proceeding numbers.

draw two small squares together

draw a third square using the combined lengths of the two original squares together.

continue to repeat the process and the set.

55 point title should be complemented with the 34 point body copy by applying Fibonacci's sequence

Rules of thirds

The concept of the golden ratio can be simplified. The rule of thirds covers the placement of points of interest in a scene. Divide any given image into thirds both horizontialy and vertically. You'll get 9 grids.

BREAK DOWN AND CUT OUT YOUR LAYOUTS USING THE RULE OF THIRDS. FIND FOCAL POINTS & INFORMATION POINTS.

We divided the magazine into 3 sections and folded it then a further 3 sections across the  middle and ripped them along the followed lines. This was to see if the images and the text would position on to the rule of thirds. Most of them didn't that i tried out, because of the images bleeding either at each side or further down. I prefer editorials that don't follow the rule of thirds. I prefer to have large images next to the text instead of structured.

CUT LAYOUTS INTO COLUMNS, HEADERS, FOOTERS, IMAGES, SUBHEADINGS ECT.

IDENTIFY ITS GRID.

We next cut some editorial spreads up into different categories such as layouts into columns , headers , footers , images , subheadings ect I loved doing this the first ones a started to dissect i was leaving sentences with the title when they should also be separate. It shows how see things and whats appealing to us. What catches our eyes first.

We got asked to created our own Fibonacci grid using a different scale than the original one (which is 2x2) I decided to
