DESIGN FOR PRINT & WEB BRIEFING & TASK
Studio brief 3 -
Your content should demonstrate an understanding of design for print and web, which includes but is not restricted to font selection, colour selection, layouts, usability, content / content management and designing for your audience.
Your finished product should show an understanding of the role of a graphic designer in design for cross media delivery, as well as demonstrating industry standard requirements.

- Stock considerations
- Colour systems
- Commercial costings
Your content should demonstrate an understanding of the audience, context, functions and uses of Graphic Design within the international graphic design indistries and broader creative industries.
I must consider audience and tone of voice.
What will we be designing?
- We are given a group of briefs from ISTD from previous years 2009 , 2010 & 2011. We are asked to choose 3 briefs and bring them along to the session.
- We will apply one of these briefs to design for print for web studio brief 3.
- We should make sure we try new techniques and ideas - be Ambitious also our website should be serving a purpose.
TASK - chosen briefs from ISTD i have chosen 5 briefs as I'm unsure at the moment which 3 i definitely want to use. I will analyse them more before i pick my final 3 for the session.
78rmp - mp3 - Investigate the lyrics of at least two songs selected from different decades of the 20th century. Make a typographic piece using them.
On Yer Bike - create and information system for cyclists to find their way around the cities.
MUTTON QUAD - CREATE A CONCEPT FOR THE BRANDING OF A TYPOGRAPHICALLY THEMED RESTAURANT.
