Our group definition : A range of process and considerations leads to a physical product.
- A rang of processes and considerations within design which aid towards the production of a final product.
After discussing further in the group we realised that design for print is actually the things you would do for anything your printing - the process eg.

FINISHING
I used examples of spot varnish and foiling for finishing because they leave a high end finish and are processes that you do after you have finished printing.
STOCK
Stock is anything that you would print onto . e.g. card paper wood. Some processes work best on certain stocks.

WHAT PROCESSES WOULD I LIKE TO TRY & WHY ?
- This year i would like to try screen printing , i tried it last year but not for a full brief. I think i need my work to have more variety so screen printing would be good to try.
- I would like to try embossing some of my work i think this particular process would be perfect for product and packaging.
- I would like to try spot varnish this year i think it gives a really nice high end finish to a piece of work and it would be interesting to try.
- I seen a lot of people foiling last year and i would like to try that as well.
- I think its important to print onto different stocks to give your work more of a variety.
- I tried letter press last year only in a workshop but i loved it and i also thing that would be ideal for product and packaging.
