PRODUCT , RANGE & DISTRIBUTION - PROGRESS CRIT FEEDBACK
QUESTIONS I ASKED-
Publication-
- Are the colours used in my publication appropriate? Do they work as a set?
- Do the designs and grids clearly relate & demonstrate the certain topic?
- I have decided to print it A4 would that be to big?
Product range & distribution-
- Would a 3d installation work well for my branding?
- Any printing/experimental methods that would be appropriate apart from laser cutting?
MY FEEDBACK-

- Publication Q1 - Yes the colours work well as a set, think its ready print.
- Publication Q2 -I think a4 would be a suitable size to help demonstrate the work. Think it would have to be perfectly bound to give it some structure.
- Studio brief 2 Q1- A instillation would work well , the repeat pattern especially.
- Studio brief 2 Q2- Screen print with florescent inks would maybe be interesting

- Studio brief 2 Q1- What will the 3d element represent? why is it needed? its hard to judge? whether it will work without knowing the full reasoning behind it?
- Studio brief 2 Q2- Die cutting , 3d printing , Paper crafting ( with knife )

- Studio brief 2 Q1- You could try a projected installation , bouncing off the walls and spinning

- Publication Q2 - yes they demonstrate each topic very well , A4 will be a good size to see detail of patterns.
- Studio brief 1 Q2- Big vinyl for the exhibition.
MOST COMMON ANSWERS-
- The questions i asked about my publication everyone agreed that it was appropriate and that the colour choices work and the paper size was suitable.
- For studio brief 2 people suggested , die cutting , vinyl & paper craft.
- For studio brief 2 - Consider styles of installation and if its appropriate.
DE-BRIEFED-
Lorraine de-briefed us and i made some notes-
- More mockups should be brought to crits.
- Take a step back if your not sure about feedback given have another read your might agree with what they're saying and realise they do have a point.
- Make a to do list of what you have to do next
To do list-
- Start experimenting with laser cutting, die cutting & vinyl
- Look at different types of installations apart from 3D
- Look at projected installations
- Create mockups and hand drawn sketches (initial ideas)
- Begin designing.
FILM POSTER
After the break we began looking at everyones movie posters as a group there were some amazing work that had been produced for the submission and everyone had really took time to plan out and design there final outcomes.
